Some people sometimes ask
me why I show top skaters falling. I do this for two reasons:
First, since I have been a coach of young skaters for years, I want them
to see that everyone falls in our sport, even World Level Skaters.
Second, I think that everyone has to laugh at themselves once in a while,
especially in our sport!
The
Fine Print:
I highly encourage you to use them on your own computer, in school projects,
and on your non-commercial web pages (and MySpace), without asking,
as long as you abide by the items listed on the Copyright
Page (you just can't use the images for commercial reasons), to
promote both the sport and the skaters shown here. These
photos may also be used freely by the Speed Skating Federations of the
various countries shown, as well as the International Skating Union (ISU),
to promote both the sport and the skaters shown here. I
took these photos with the purpose of increasing knowledge of the sport
of Speed
Skating. It is hoped that everyone will benefit, including
the skaters (and their coaches) shown here!
